NESSI activities were presented at the “2nd EECA Cluster networking event – ICT Communities building” organised by the EECA Cluster on 9 September 2015 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The event focused on specific ICT sub-areas of mutual interest for R&I collaboration among research and industrial teams from the EU and the EECA countries. Nikos Sarris (ATC) on behalf of NESSI moderated a panel of three NESSI Partners with the following agenda:
- NESSI ETP strategy – Stefano de Panfilis, Engineering Ingegneria Informatica
- Collaboration Opportunities in the Big Data Public Private Partnership and the Future Internet Programme – Nuria de Lama, ATOS
- Data privacy aspects in Big Data, with focus on protecting medical information – Aris Gkoulalas-Divanis, IBM Research
